May 24, 2024 at 7:06 PMDuring this time, the Node version that runs Fire and related services will be updated to the latest LTS version (20.13.1) after previously being stuck on a much older version due to the Google command requiring libraries that could not be used on newer versions
This process will require some downtime of all services to perform the upgrade. I have allocated more time than I believe it will take just in case things go wrong as I have encountered issues before when attempting a Node upgrade
Local tests have already been completed to ensure all services work correctly with the latest version and most were immediately functional whereas some required updates to packages or changes to code.
